So, a few weeks ago I blogged about the coming of Pacific Beach's newest establishment Mavericks Beach Club. Well, it's here and the hype didn't do it any justice. The layout is brilliant and the decor is flawless, my favorite being the yellow wooden chairs. The menu packed just as much of a punch as the decor.

Venturing outside my normal bubble continues and my hunger has me back in the beach community. I must say, restaurants attached to hotels don't get enough credit. JRDN, located inside Tower 23, is a hidden gem worth experiencing! The calamari is simply perfection, being lightly fried and paired with broccoli and fresno chilies.
