The Fashion Trust U.S. Awards delivered… but let’s be clear, not everyone understood the assignment. These? These are the ones who did. The ones who didn’t just get dressed… they styled a moment. Tailoring that actually fit like it was made for them. Textures that played well under flash. Details that whispered luxury instead of screaming for attention.
Giants: Art from the Dean Collection, curated by Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys, arrived with presence, intention, and a level of cultural authority that instantly shifted the room. This wasn’t passive viewing, it was immersion. It was power. It was a reminder that art, when curated with vision, doesn’t just sit on walls, it speaks, challenges, and elevates.
There is something irresistibly thrilling about a place that makes you feel like you are in on a secret, and Carlo delivers that feeling from the very first moment. Tucked away in Mission Hills, Carlo announces itself quietly. No obvious door, no flashing signs. Instead, you slip through a wall of wine bottles, and just like that, you are transported. It is dramatic, playful, and effortlessly cool, setting the tone for what becomes a truly elevated experience.
A relaxing weekend in Rehoboth Beach offers the perfect blend of charm, comfort, and coastal beauty. Strolling along the boardwalk, visitors are drawn to the mouthwatering aromas wafting from the various ice cream shops, each with its own unique flavors and personality. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic cone or something more adventurous, the creamy, delicious options make for the perfect treat while taking in the ocean views.
Year two of promising myself to ring in the New Year in a new country has not disappointed! Tokyo truly is an amazing city that offers a delightful blend of culinary delights and architectural wonders. The city is renowned for its mouthwatering ramen, which is a must-try for any food lover. The rich and savory broth, combined with perfectly cooked noodles and a variety of toppings, create a bowl of pure bliss. And let's not forget about the coffee scene in Tokyo.
It’s been almost two years to date since I posted. I’m glad to be back writing, traveling, and most of all styling, though the latter hadn’t changed much. So, I decided to accompany my friend Dom to Nashville. Nashville has been on my radar for years but was never at the top of my list. You know we all have that “Where I want to travel” list and Nashville always sat between #12-15.
Chicago has been on my list of places to travel since before I started styling. This trip was a bit pleasure and bit work which is always the perfect combo, right? In between meetings I was able to explore the city which is so rich in history and culture. The food scene is quite vast and nothing short of amazing, from Italian to French to Mexican and surprisingly even sushi!
Screens may run the day, but paper still has a way of slowing the mind. Kristine Mae understands that instinctively. With her handcrafted journals, she invites us to slow down, to reconnect, and to experience design in its most personal form. Kristine approaches each piece with a strong design eye, balancing beauty, utility, and restraint. Each journal feels considered, elevated, and timeless, a reflection of someone who doesn’t just create, but curates how we move through our everyday lives.
